Ben has been around restaurants his whole life. Growing up, his father was a baker and his mother was a short-order cook. He spent nearly two decades working as a chef and restaurant manager in Alaska and has been designing with SRE since 2019. He also has a degree in Mechanical Design Technologies.
Having grown up in the foodservice industry Ben has a hands-on understanding of the flow and function of kitchens–a vital trait of a good designer!
He has assisted on Twigs Grandscape, the new River City Pizza, and the new South Hill Thai Bamboo restaurant. In his spare time, he likes to work with 3D design, spend time with family, do home repairs, cook, and read.
